  3. Kneeology
Ology we know is the study of. kneel is somthing we do.

Why would we kneel why would we study? To know how? What to say?

Do we study others prayers in to know who to pray!

  5. There is alot of - ology's out there. But nowhere is there such an important one as kneeology. If you have not been a student of kneeology yet - you will be. You will continue in school until you become a scholar in this field. I love the video, that day may be here sooner than any of us imagine.

  8. To me, kneeology would be the study of knees. In that study, we critically think and question the motives behind kneeling, which would be to humble ourselves. We study and kneel our way into the presence of God. Examine our purposes for kneeling. Is it to get to Him or to get to what He can give us? Are we kneeling to seek His face or His hand? Maybe we need to kneel because it is a humble position and can become uncomfortable and this will bring a change of heart. Spiritual wars are won on our knees.
I saw a t-shirt that says, "Get on your knees and fight like a man."

  9. Wow! This is deep. I wonder what would happen if we spent more time on our knees (in communication/conversation) with God rather than the activities that require upright positioning.

I will be in prayer for revelations. Thanks for sharing.

  11. Kneeology???? I agree with "anonymous" who said the "the study of the knee." Since you are a minister I am sure it can be tied into religion. The suggetion of kneeling is humbling. So I would dare to suggest humbling yourself before God.

  12. Mike...
I just look in the dictionary and there is no such word as kneeology!
Being that I am a student I tend to search and research before answering any question.... :)

Maybe kneeology is a in-house language that people from the south use...typical

  13. Rarely do I take time from my busy schedule to respond to postings such as this, but this one really got me thinking. So, instead of writing a novel, I will try to keep the points short and sweet...you fill in the blanks.

I took the time to go to over 40 Google sites and research Kneeology....at least what others say it is. Here is my synopsis.

    * A Christian Youth Singing Group

    * Kneeology Way in Quincy, FL... a road.

Those are things we can concretely say Kneeology is...

but now, beyond the concrete, Kneeology...

An excuse not to study the word.

    "Kneeology brings better theology"

"God's pray as you go plan"

Study of knees, study of prayer

Advocating studying about prayer or praying rather than doing it.

"Theology without Kneeology is a spiritless mind, Kneeology without Theology is a mindless spirit"

"Bending the knees of their hearts first"

    Unlocking the power of prayer

Seeking the answer on our knees.

Sometimes in reading, I found areas in which a person is described as having a degree in Kneeology...or a true man or woman of kneeology.

After this "brief" study, I would project that the term 'Kneeology' seems to be some's way of excusing their lack of education. I believe the word tells us to Study to shew thyself approved unto God...so we do not have to be ashamed. Just because someone does not have a degree after their name does not mean they have not recieved Biblical education, but we are required to be students of the Word. We need good teachers, for the Word says how can they learn without someone to teach them?

On the other hand, we need to be in prayer and seeking the face of God and His will in all things. All great Christian leaders will tell you they had to find themselves in a prayer closet, and for more than a minute or two. God has been placing in my heart the need to not only pray diligently, effectually, and regularly (daily, and throughout the day), but we must be teaching others what prayer is, who God truly is, and how we can lead a Holy life consecrated to him.

Both Theology and "Kneeology" are important.... neither should be neglected.

  14. We knee for many reasons
Even though this was a name of a road. Knee-ology. one meaning for knee means submission. And logy - means subject to study or interest. Just kneeing doesn't mean a thing, But to knee in submission of ones interest in that which we believe. We all are guilty of not submitting when we knee, we do it because we are told. What our interest is' when we submit God hears and answers.
